How do I set the forum notification frequency?

The default frequency for forum post notifications is a daily summary. You can change this to immediately (recommended) or to weekly. Keep in mind, getting them less frequently may cause you to miss something, but it’s your choice.

To change the notification frequency: Click on For Members in the top menu then on My Profile under the 'For You' column Next, click Edit Profile then Email Subscriptions (first image) Finally, set the frequency to Daily, Weekly or Immediately and Save (second image)

How do I edit my profile?

From the top menu, click For Members then My Profile. From there, you can edit your profile, your directory preferences, and other items associated with your account.

Alternatively, click the orange login icon at the top right, then View Profile.

About profile images:

Photos appear best if cropped square and, ideally, feature your face. They will be stored at a maximum size of 110 x 110 pixels regardless of the original uploaded image size. If the image isn't square, the proportion will be maintained and one of the dimensions will be less than 110 pixels.

Fixing a rotated profile photo:

Sometimes a photo may be turned 90 degrees. It's a quirk of how some cameras embed metadata. You can try to fix it by using this tool: Rotate Image Online

Just upload the photo to the online tool, rotate it to the correct orientation (e.g. turn right 90 degrees), then download it. I would download it as a PNG file.

Next, on the website, click on: The login avatar in the upper right, then on View profile. Click to edit your profile and you'll see Remove/Change next to your original photo. Be sure to Save your edit. If you need help, email website@pdxnordic.org.
