Destination:  Atkisson Sno-Park & Guard Station
Terrain: Mixed trail options, groomed & ungroomed
Trip Rating: All Levels

Pack your LED lantern, headlamp, and skis for 3 nights in this hidden rustic gem.

We will ski about 2.5 miles from the Atkisson Ski Park to the cabin. There is no electricity and no cell phone coverage, but there will be lots of serenity and stars (it's a new moon). Wood stove and propane heat. Propane cooking stove, cooking pots, pans, utensils and dishes on site. Propane lights and fridge (yes, fridge). Couches and table/chairs inside make it warm and comfy. Beds with mattresses. Bring a sheet/sleeping bag/quilt. Clean modern Forest Service outhouse.

Super affordable. Only 6 spaces in total (includes leader and coleader). Beginner level ski terrain, but you need to be able to ski in your clothes, sleeping bag, and food.

Cost:  $TBD per person
Travel miles:  From Portland, 200 miles round trip, plus mileage to the ski areas
